St. Joseph Police are investigating a possible threat to Central High School that was made on social media.

Police and St. Joseph School District officials were made aware of a threat at least a day ago.&nbsp;

Officers enhanced security at the school Friday, but are unsure of the threat's credibility. Numerous parents were seen picking up their students from Central, Benton and Lafayette High Schools during the day Friday.

St. Joseph Police and school district officials have not yet elaborated on the exact nature of the threat. The incident remains under investigation.
