Thomas Vaughn George, 46, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, comfortably in his home with his wife Amanda by his side.
He was born January 8, 1977 in St. Joseph to Curtis and Kathleen (Turner) George.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army as a Communications Specialist at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He later was a mechanic for Clarios.
His favorite things in life were riding motorcycles, spending time with family and friends drinking beer by the fire, and the 4th of July was by far his favorite holiday.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis; and son, Matthew George.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda; children, Nichole Anderson and Michael George; five stepchildren; two grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; mother, Kathleen George; brother, William Louis George; numerous other extended family members and friends.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather for a private viewing at 5:00 P.M. Friday, June 23, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may join them from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
