An Overland Park woman, fleeing law enforcement, died in a fiery crash in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 46-year-old Sheila Roesch died at the scene, Missouri Highway 13 two miles north of Kingston.
The patrol reports Roesch was fleeing Ray County law enforcement shortly before seven o’clock Monday morning when she drove through a construction barrier, went off the east side of Highway 13, struck a vertical light trailer, and went down an embankment, where flames engulfed her car.
Roesch was pronounced dead at the scene. The Caldwell County Coroner transported her to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
In June, Roesch was jailed in Johnson County on a requested charge of aggravated domestic battery, according to online jail records.
