DAVIESS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Friday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 GMC Sierra driven by a 69-year-old Trenton man was eastbound on MO 6 two miles east of Jamesport. The pickup crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2008 Ford Focus head-on.
Community Ambulance District transported the 62-year-old Ford driver to Liberty Hospital. Grundy County EMS transported the pickup driver to Truman Medical Center. The Ford driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
The Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
