A 30-year-old man gave up to St. Joseph police after officers broke down a locked door and took him into custody.
Police say an officer attempted to arrest Trevor Harris in the 800 block of Sunset Drive last night when he ran into a house and locked himself inside.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports the incident began around 8:30 last night. Officers were looking for Harris on an active felony warrant for assault as well as another misdemeanor warrant. Harris gave up without incident once officers forced the door open about an hour after he fled into the house.
