GENTRY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 3p.m. Saturday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by Dustin W. Beaty, 46, Bethany, was eastbound on U.S.136 one mile west of Stanberry.
The Jeep traveled off the south side of the road down an embankment, struck a field entrance, became airborne and rolled.
A 13-year-old male passenger from Bethany was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Roberson Funeral Home. Grand River Ambulance transported Beaty to Mosaic Life Care. A second passenger identified as Angela D. Beaty, 43, Bethany, was airlifted to Mosaic. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
