BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Monday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Dodge Longhorn driven by Jerry E. McClurg, 45, Collinsville, OK., was southbound on Interstate 29 in the St. Joseph City limits.
The pickup rear-ended a 2017 Ford Transit van driven by Larry P. Crider, 60, Oregon, Mo., who had slowed due to traffic.
Buchanan County EMS transported McClurg and a 13-year-old boy in the Dodge to Mosaic Life Care. Crider was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
