Randy Eugene Redden 70, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday May 23, 2023 in St. Joseph. He was born August 3, 1952, son of Lois Kennedy & William Redden.
He went to Lafayette High School. He married Lana Jane Schurman on July 21, 1972, and they shared almost 50 years of marriage. He had many jobs, working at Housman Roofing, Missouri Department of Transportation, and Edwards Chemical. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. His favorite thing to do besides be with his wife and loved ones, was drinking a Diet Coke while watching westerns.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Mike Redden, and in-laws, Charles & Doris Schurman.
He is survived by daughter, Charlene (Scott) Kirschner, brother, Gary (Linda) Redden, sisters, Lori (Pat) Shelter, Tina Kennedy, and Kathy (Eric Powell) Brown all of St. Joseph, MO, step-brother, Carl Crow, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, sister-in-laws, Clella (Mox) Johnson of St. Joseph, MO, Cassy (Jim) Gunter, and Charlene (Scott) Kirschner, brother-in-laws, Ron and Tom Schurman.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service following at 3:00 pm. He will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
