UPDATE: The Patrol reports that shortly after 3pm both northbound lanes of I-29 have been cleared and are open.

A jackknifed semi tractor-trailer has blocked both northbound
lanes of I-29 about 10 miles north of St. Joseph.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident
occurred at the 61 mile marker in Andrew County. Northbound lanes are being
rerouted north on US 71 at miles marker 57.

UPDATE: Northbound lanes of I-29 have been reopened
