St. Joseph police report southbound I-29 has reopened after a truck accident shut down traffic on the interstate south of St. Joseph between Faucett and Dearborn this morning.

A semi tractor-trailer jackknifed very early this morning Highway 116 at mile marker 32, blocking both southbound lanes, bringing interstate traffic to a standstill. Traffic had to be re-routed for a time at the Faucett exit while emergency crews responded.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says no one was injured in the accident.
