GASCONADE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 8a.m. Thursday in Gasconade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Jeep Latitude driven by Danton C. Clark, 29, Rosebud, was westbound on U.S. 50 just before Roethmyer Road.
The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Dale D. Kurrelmeyer, 59, Rosebud, head-on.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the funeral home in Owensville. Arch transported Kurrelmeyer to Mercy in Creve Couer.
Clark was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
