NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Thursday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Honda CRV driven by Carly E. Rahn, 20, Clarinda, IA., was southbound on U.S. 71 one mile north of Burlington Junction .
The Honda crossed the centerline into the northbound lane and struck a 1999 Peterbilt semi driven by Douglas P. Richardson, 50, Hopkins, head-on.
Nodaway County EMS transported Rahn to Mosaic in Maryville. Richardson was not injured. Rahn was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
