NODAWAY COUNTY—One. person was injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Dodge Stratus driven by Christopher T. McCourt, 28, Skidmore, was northbound on MO 113 one mile north of Skidmore.
The driver swerved and crossed the centerline to avoid hitting a deer. The driver overcorrected. The car traveled off the east side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
Nodaway County ambulance transported McCourt to Mosaic in Maryville. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
