BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured after being hit by a vehicle just after 10 p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Buick Enclave driven by Kristil L. Billings, 36, Dearborn, was westbound on Route MM four miles southeast of Faucett.
The vehicle struck pedestrians Dylan R. Moore, 17, and a 16-year-old boy who were walking across the westbound lane toward the eastbound lane.
Lifeflight transported Moore to Children's Mercy. Buchanan County EMS transported the 16-year-old to Mosaic and then Lifeflight transported him to Children's Mercy.
Billings was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
