ATCHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Monday in Atchison County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1992 Jeep Cherokee driven by Piper Rhea Schuh, 15, Lancaster, was southbound on 8th Street in Atchison.
The driver failed to stop for the stop sign at Division Street and pulled into the path of a westbound 2009 Honda Odyssey driven by Sarah Rena Klingele, 41, Atchison.
EMS transported Klingele to the hospital in Atchison.
Schuh and a teen passenger in the Honda were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
