One dead, 3 hospitalized after DeKalb Co. crash

DEKALB COUNTY —One person died in a crash just before 2 p.m. Sunday in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Cadillac DeVille driven by John P. Harmon, 52, St. Joseph, was eastbound on SW Rogers Road. The driver failed to yield at the intersection at SW Lakesite Road one mile north of Osborn.

A northbound 2008 Honda CRV driven by Eric R. Hartley, 41, Tulsa, OK., struck the passenger side of the Cadillac.

DeKalb-Clinton ambulance transported a passenger in the Cadillac Donna I. Cook, 50, Warsaw, to Cameron Regional Medical Center where she died.

DeKalb-Clinton ambulance transported Harmon to Mosaic Life Care. Cameron ambulance transported Hartley and a passenger in the Honda Emily B. Hartley, 48, Tulsa, OK., to Mosaic Life Care. The occupants of the Cadillac were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
