NODAWAY COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Friday in Nodawy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Abbie J. Morrow, 17, Burlington Junction, was eastbound on 170th Street three miles southeast of Clearmont.
The car traveled off the south side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The car traveled off the north side of the road, struck several trees, began to spin and the back seat passenger was ejected through the rear glass.
Nodaway County ambulance transported Ashlyn C. Roberts, 17, and a 16-year-old girl both of Clarinda, Iowa to Mosaic in Maryville. Morrow refused treatment at the scene. The 16-year-old was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
