COVID-19 cases top 600 in Buchanan County

Cases of COVID-19 in Buchanan County have topped 600, now at 621 according to Buchanan County and St. Joseph health officials.

Buchanan County reports 570 confirmed cases of the coronavirus with 51 probable cases. There have been two deaths recorded for Buchanan County.

Andrew County health officials report 25 cases of COVID-19; 24 confirmed and one probable.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 11 cases of the coronavirus.

Mosaic Life Care has now tested nearly 5,000 area residents. As of Sunday morning, Mosaic had tested 4,998 with 262 positive tests and 53 test results pending. Fourteen patients have been hospitalized, all at the St. Joseph hospital.

Missouri health officials report 11,988 residents with COVID-19. The state has recorded 681 deaths due to the coronavirus.

Kansas health officials report 8,958 cases with 185 deaths.
