The Missouri Western cheer squad will soon host virtual tryouts for the 2020-21 academic year. Virtual tryouts will be held through a zoom meeting, at which time applicants will be completing the cheer, fight song and interview portion of the tryout process for the 2020-21 school year. A video of the tryout cheers and fight song can be found on the cheer squad's instagram account @_mwsucheer. Applicants will use these videos to learn all of the material needed for the virtual tryout.The tryout application, which can be found by clicking the link above or&nbsp;<a href="http://gogriffons.com/services/go.ashx/83c16eed-4132-443b-9a52-1daea60b3c90?elinkdata=222549" target="_blank">here</a>, must be emailed to head coach Arielle Potter (<a href="mailto:azeigler1@missouriwestern.edu" target="_blank">azeigler1@missouriwestern.edu</a>) by May 22. Once applicants have submitted this packet and all required items, they will be sent a time and link for the virtual tryout. Once the tryout process is complete, there will be a stunt and tumbling portion of tryouts, which will be completed at a date to be announced.
