BUCHANAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan driven by Samuel Q. Chapman, 25, Kansas City, was northbound on MO 371 at Skaggs one and a half miles northwest of Dearborn.The motorcycle traveled off the road, struck a guardrail. The driver and passenger were ejected.&nbsp;Lifeflight transported Chapman to KU Medical Center. The passenger Laci K. Shoemaker, 29, Kansas City, refused medical treatment. She was wearing a helmet, Chapman was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
