Northwest's Shawna Zech/Scott Bostwick Memorial Classic golf tournament pushed back

The 26th annual Northwest Missouri State Shawna Zech/Scott Bostwick Memorial Classic golf tournament is being delayed until Friday, July 31, at Mozingo Lake Golf Course. The event was originally slated for Friday, June 24.

The tournament features two shotgun starts (7:30 a.m./1:30 p.m.) and is a four-person scramble. Sponsorship and donor information are available for this event that benefits the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat football program and the Shawna Zech Scholarship Fund.

Dave Riggert talked with Missouri Western women's basketball forward Corbyn Cunningham. The senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico discusses the success of her and the Griffons in her first year at MWSU, her basketball journey, growing up in an athletic family and much more.

Cunningham, who transfered to Missouri Western from Howard College, was named First Team All-MIAA this past season as she led Missouri Western in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage. Cunningham averaged 15.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and she shot 56.4 percent from the field during her junior season.
