Dave Riggert talked with Missouri Western middle blocker Ali Tauchen. The senior from Iowa City, Iowa talks about not having spring practices because of the COVID-19 pandemic, her career at MWSU, the recruiting process and much more.
Tauchen was named First Team All-MIAA last season and was also the league's Freshman of the Year in 2017. She led the Griffons in kills and total blocks and finished fifth in the MIAA with 371 kills. Missouri Western went 17-13 in 2019 and finished 11-9 in the MIAA. They're scheduled to open the 2020 season the first week in September.
