Dave Riggert talked with Missouri Western women's basketball coach Candi Whitaker as she discussed the challenges of recruiting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whitaker enters here second season as the head coach of the Griffons as she led them to a fourth place finish in the MIAA last season. MWSU went 21-8 and 13-6 in league play.
Whitaker will have a big recruiting class in 2020 as she's signed six high school seniors and one transfer so far. She expecting to sign as many as 10 total student-athletes.
