KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four members of the Missouri Western women's tennis team were recognized as MIAA Academic Awards for women's tennis were released. Mireia Birosta, Federica Salmaso, Karolina Ström and Katherine Yeacker were all named on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.To qualify for MIAA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.MIAA Academic Awards for freshmen and first-year transfer student-athletes will be released at a later date.--- MWSU Athletics ---
