COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics is excited to announce a plan to thank the Health Care and Frontline Heroes who have navigated our community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

For just $10, Mizzou fans can purchase tickets to any Mizzou Football nonconference game, and those tickets will then be donated to Health Care and Frontline organizations to distribute directly to their workers who have been on the front lines battling the Coronavirus, so they can attend a Mizzou game free of charge. It is a way for Mizzou Athletics and the Mid-Missouri community to show their appreciation of the essential workers who have sacrificed so much during these trying times.

Anyone looking to purchase tickets for the front-line workers can do so at MUTigers.com/Heroes. Fans can also call the Mizzou Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS to donate tickets. In the event of a delayed or postponed season, the tickets would be good for a date as soon as football is rescheduled. Any tickets purchased will be a guaranteed to paid forward as part of the Thank You campaign for Health Care and Frontline Heroes.

“We’re obviously really excited about giving back to members of our community who have sacrificed so much over the past several months to keep our community safe,” Deputy AD Ryan Alpert said. “The Health Care and Frontline Heroes campaign is a tremendous way for our athletic department and our fan base to team together and showcase our appreciation for frontline workers who have made such a profound impact on our community. We hope to be one of many community leaders to turn around and publicly thank our health care workers. This is just a small gesture to help repay those who have given so much over the last several months.”
