Dave Riggert had an opportunity to talk with Missouri Western men's basketball point guard Tyrell Carroll. The Omaha, Nebraska native talks about his First Team All-MIAA season as a sophomore, the coaching change at MWSU, building Griffon basketball back up, growing up in North Omaha, his recruiting process, the future of Missouri Western basketball and much more.
Carroll was named First Team All-MIAA in 2019-2020 after leading the Griffons to an 18-win season for the first time since 2010. He averaged 17.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
