Andrew County health officials have announced two more cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to three.
County Health Administrator Andrew Hoffman reports a resident in their 50s contracted COVID-19 and is recovering, isolated at their home. That case has been confirmed by a lab. A second case reported today is listed as a probable case, that of another patient in their 50s who meets clinical criteria and epidemiologic evidence. That person also is self-isolating during their recovery at home.
Andrew County authorities are attempting to find those who might have been in close contact with both patients.
Andrew County remains under a stay at home order.
