Carolyn "Carol" Tharp 74, of DeKalb, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 in DeKalb. She was born June 9, 1950 in Kansas City, daughter of the late Betty and James Ralston. She was a stay-at-home mom, when her kids were younger, but Carol also worked at factory and bartending jobs as well. She enjoyed going out and having fun. Some of Carol's favorite things were thrifting and spending time with her grandkids and Lilly, her beloved late dog. Above all, she loved her kids, grandkids, and Elvis. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Roxanne, Judy, Johnny, and Amos, and her beloved dog, Lilly. Survivors include: daughter, Shelly (Rick) McQuillen, son, Troy (Rachel) Manser, sister, Marsha Lynch of Independence, MO, grandchildren, Ashlin, Bailey, Holden, Taren, Micah, and Shelby, and great-granchildren, Jackson, Brilynn, Tristan, Allana, Ophelia, Brooks, Trenton, Truman, and Evana.There are no scheduled services at this time.
