St. Joseph Central High School is parting way with girls basketball coach Jared Boone as he's been relieved of his duties.
Boone confirmed the news Friday but St. Joseph School District officials said they were unable to comment on personnel issues.
Boone just completed his fifth season as the head coach of the Indians as went 79-54 overall and 33-31 in the Suburban League. He led CHS to a district championship this past season as they went 16-12 and lost to Liberty in the Class 5 Sectionals. It was the second district title for Boone as Central also won a title in 2016.
Boone is a St. Joseph native as he graduated from Benton High School in 2004.
