Woman from St. Joseph hospitalized after van slides on slushy road

DONIPHAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in Doniphan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Chevy Uplander driven by Kala A. Goff, 30, St. Joseph, was eastbound on U.S. 36 at 165th street.

The driver lost control of vehicle due to slushy roads.  The vehicle left the road and entered the center median.

EMS transported Goff to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
