Missouri man dies after violent 3-vehicle crash

CLINTON COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Friday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer driven by Ryan C. Mosley, 47, Excelsior, Minnesota, was southbound on U.S. 169.

The Jeep rear-ended a 2017 Ford F350 driven by Roy J. Zimmer, 34, Dearborn, Missouri. The impact pushed the Ford into the path of a northbound 2004 Chevy Impala driven by Charles D. Bogele, 65, Lathrop. The pickup traveled over the top of and came to rest on the Chevy.

The Jeep traveled off the road and struck a utility pole.

Bogele was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. Tri-County EMS transported Mosley and Zimmer to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
