Missouri Western officially introduced Will Martin as its sixth head men's basketball coach in school history on Monday.
This is the first head coaching job for the 31-year old as he takes over for Sundance Wicks, who stepped down last week to take an assistant coaching job at Wyoming. Martin has been the top assistant for the Griffons the last two years under Wicks.
Martin will lead a Missouri Western team that had its best season in 10 years as the Griffons went 18-14 and finished fourth in the MIAA at 13-6.
