CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Saturday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Debra A. Lavender, 57, Plattsburg, was southbound on U.S. 169 four miles south of Gower.
The driver attempted a left turn onto MO 116 and traveled into the path of a northbound 2016 Cadillac ATS driven by Kathleen M. McClung, 42, Trimble. The vehicles collided head-on. The Dodge spun, traveled off the road down an embankment and overturned. The Cadillac then struck a stop sign.
Tri-County ambulance transported McClung to Liberty Hospital. Lavender and two passengers in the Cadillac did not seek immediate medical treatment. A four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
