LIVINGSTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Friday in Livingston County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge passenger vehicle driven by Brandi M. Wilfong, 40, St. Joseph, was eastbound on U.S. 36 just west of Chillicothe.The vehicle began to overtake another, slower vehicle.&nbsp; In an effort to avoid striking the slower vehicle, Wilfong steered the Dodge to the left, traveled across the center line and off the road. The Dodge struck a guardrail, returned to the road, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a second guardrail, returned to the road and struck a third guardrail.Chillicothe EMS transporteed Wilfong to Hedrick Medical Center. She was later air-lifted to St. Luke's on the Plaza in Kansas City.She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
