Newest MINK League team has moved from Chanute to Clinton

Before evening play a summer college baseball game in the MINK League, team owner Titus Bond has moved his to-be-named franchise from Chanute, Kansas to Clinton, Missouri.

Bond is entering his first season as team owner and member of the MINK. Bond relocated his franchise due to field availability in Chanute. The coaching staff and roster will remain the same. The team will play in Wagoner Memorial Field in Clinton. The team will also remain in the South Division, alongside fellow members Joplin Outlaws, Sedalia Bombers, Nevada Griffons, and Jefferson City Renegades.

The team is hosting a name the team contest, and plans to announce a team name and logo by March 25. People may enter nominations for the new team name by visiting the Clinton Baseball Team Facebook page at fb.me/clintonbaseball2020.

MINK League Commissioner Ron Rodriguez noted, “The MINK league is very excited about having Clinton join or league. They should create a natural rivalry with Sedalia and Jefferson City in the South Division.”
