The Missouri Western women's basketball team is adding junior college point guard Kelcie Hale to their roster as she has verbally committed to the Griffons.Hale played the past two years at North Iowa Area Community College and she led the Trojans to a 32-1 record this past season and a Region XI championship. Hale was named the Region XI Tournament MVP as she scored 24 points and had four assists in the title game against Kirkwood.The 5'3" sophomore from Earlham, Iowa was named First Team All-Region XI as she averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Hale will join a Missouri Western team entering its second season under head coach Candi Whitaker as the Griffons went 21-8 this past season and finished tied for fourth in the MIAA at 13-6.
