DESTIN, Fla. – Missouri Western Women's Golf began their spring slate with the opening round at the Emerald Coast Classic on Sunday. The Griffons are tied for seventh place amongst the 13-team field with a team score of 332.
Allycia Gan finished round one with a score of 76. The freshman tied for eighth place overall after Sunday's performance. Tammy Lim had the next best finish for the Griffons with an individual score of 82 and placed tied for 26th.
Anna Bech finished tied for 38th place with an overall score of 85 headed into the next two rounds, while Cindy Herrera tied for 49th place with a first-round score of 89.
Madi Vine finished round one with a score of 94, respectively.
The Griffons will return to Baytowne Golf Club on Monday to compete in round two of the three-round event.
