Northwest women fall at home to Missouri Southern 58-42

The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team fell to the Missouri Southern Lions 58-42 in Bearcat Arena. The Bearcats really struggled offensively shooting only 24.1% from the field and 27.6% from behind the arc.

Erika Schlosser led Northwest with 10 points, she was the only Bearcat in double figures. Mallory McConkey led the team with eight rebounds and four assists.

Amber Buch and Layne Skiles led the Lions with 10 points each. Madi Stokes led Missouri Southern with nine rebounds. The Lions shot 44% from the field and 52% from behind the arc.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Saturday against Pittsburg State at 1:30 p.m. in Bearcat Arena.
