ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The project to replace the Interstate 29 overpass on Route 116 between Faucett and Dearborn may slow drivers today and tomorrow.
According to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release, in order to work safely on the bridge project, contractors from Clarkson Construction Company will close one lane of I-29 at the bridge site just north of mile marker 32 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The northbound passing lane is already closed and will remain closed until noon. The southbound driving lane will be close from 6 a.m. until noon on Wednesday.
One northbound lane and one southbound lane are expected to remain open during the times listed above.
