NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Chevy Suburban driven by Edwin J. Makings, 34, Maryville, was eastbound on 220th three miles north of Maryville.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve at Imperial Road. The SUV traveled through the intersection, over an embankment and struck a fence.
A private vehicle transported a passenger Salina K. Deardoff, 20, Maryville, to Mosaic in Maryville. Makings was not injured. Deardoff was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
