BUCHANAN COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just after 6a.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Andrew P. Pierce, 29, Lathrop, was eastbound on U.S. 36 on mile north of Easton.
The Ford rear-ended a 2009 Chevy 2500 driven by Trevor D. Johnson, 19, Savannah, that was slowing to make a turn onto MO 31.
Buchanan County EMS transported Pierce and Johnson to Mosaic Life Care. Pierce was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
