MWSU baseball drops final two games at Oklahoma Baptist

SHAWNEE, Okla. - The Missouri Western baseball team scored the first run in game one, but the Griffons dropped two games to Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday. Jacob Cooper and Brock Wrolstad recorded the losses for the Griffons through four combined innings pitched.

The Griffons scored first through both contests, but the Bison went on a 20-run roll in game one and three-run streak in game two to seal it for OBU. Gustavo Gonzales scored on each posession for the Griffons, scoring on an RBI in game one and hitting a home run in game two.

NOTABLES:

- The Griffons had a combined 17 hits through the two games.

- MWSU also had 10 RBI's throughout both contests.

- Gustavo Gonzales and Colby Tam recorded three home runs between the two games.

- Josh Robinson recorded five hits and three RBI's through two games.

UP NEXT:

The Griffons will travel to Magnolia, Arkansas next Friday, Saturday and Sunday to take on Southern Arkansas.
