St. Joseph Bishop LeBlond High School Principal Jeff Sullivan is resigning, effective at the end of the school year.

Sullivan sent an email to parents and supporters in which he announced that he will be leaving the post after five years.

“The past five years have been full of ups and downs for the school, me, and my family. I appreciate that I was given the opportunity to lead this storied institution by you. However, I do feel like it is time for me to resign from this position at the conclusion of this school year,” Sullivan said in the email.

Sullivan stated he didn’t know what his job status will be next year, but said he would continue support Bishop LeBlond in his personal life.

“Thank you for taking a chance on me and trusting me with continuing the traditions that this school has held for numerous decades,” Sullivan wrote in the email.

Sullivan said he would help in the transition however he could and stated that he hoped that by announcing his decision early, it would give Bishop LeBlond time to find “a fitting candidate for the job.”
