Sunny and breezy with temps near 50

Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue today and Wednesday with highs in the lower to middle 50s. Winds will be on the increase both days with westerly winds of 10-20 mph today and southeasterly at 20-30 mph. The gusty winds on Wednesday could lead to elevated fire danger and burning should be delayed until winds diminish. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 48. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. West wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 50. East southeast wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. Southeast wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Thursday: A chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday: Rain likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday Night: Rain, snow, and freezing rain likely before 11pm, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain between 11pm and 1am, then a chance of snow after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 19. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday: A chance of snow before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43.
