Temps in the 40s and 50s through the week

Mild temperatures and dry conditions will continue through midweek. Thursday there will be the chance for showers as well as few thunderstorms. Rain is expected to continue into Friday with a change over to snow possible Friday night. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 29. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 49. West northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 27. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Southeast wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of rain after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday Night: A chance of rain before 8pm, then a chance of rain and snow between 8pm and 9pm, then a chance of snow after 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
