Mary Hager 1928 - 2019

Mary Lou Hager, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 23, 2014.

She was born June 9, 1928 in Cosby, Missouri.

Mary’s employment included Western Diary, where she met Donald, Noma Electric, Avon, and Montgomery Wards.

She enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday School at Savannah Avenue Baptist Church, wintering in Fort Myers, Florida, and was always involved in a craft project. She was a dedicated wife and mother who had a tender heart coupled with a determination to stay independent as long as possible.

She has moved on to rest in the arms of Jesus and will continue to be loved and missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hager; parents, Robert and Beulah Berning; sister, Betty Wixom; brother, Donald Berning. Survivors include sons, Bill Schooling, Highland, KS and Glenn Hager (Patty, Winthrop Harbor, IL; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
