John M. Weber, 71, beloved family man and friend to many, passed away after a brief battle with brain cancer, on Friday, August 25, 2023. Born on August 8, 1952, in St. Joseph, MO, John was a cherished son to the late Martin and Stephanie (Mihelich) Weber.
John leaves behind a beautiful family including his wife, Vada Leanne Weber; children, Brook Weber, Laura Blackmore, and Shane Weber (Wendy Le); grandchildren, Judah and Hazel. His sister, Stephanie Heater, his three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews also mourn his loss.
A proud alumnus of Christian Brothers class of 1970, John devoted 42 years of his life to the Albaugh Chemical Company, rising to the position of Production Manager. His professional commitment was matched by his love for the life he built outside of work.
John was an avid golfer and an unwavering Chiefs and Royals fan. He had a penchant for road trips and derived immense pleasure in planning and implementing them. His love for his home saw him build three family homes and maintain a beautiful yard. His green thumb had a magic touch, making gardens bloom and flourish.
Described as lovingly mischievous, John was known for his quick wit which got him out of many tricky situations. His grandchildren were his prized treasures.
Acknowledged as a beacon of love, wisdom, and joy by all who knew him, John M. Weber will be profoundly missed.
