Northwest Missouri State University junior outside hitter Hallie Sidney earned honorable mention American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America honors.
Sidney becomes only the second Bearcat to be named an AVCA All-American (Maddy Bruder, 2018).
Sidney (Chesterfield, Missouri) led the MIAA in kills (443) and kills per set (4.03). Sidney ranked No. 2 in the nation in attacks per set (13.02). Sidney was a five-time MIAA hitter of the week selection in 2019. Sidney recorded 22 kills and a career-high 23 digs in a five-set win at Missouri Western (Oct. 22). Sidney reached double-figure kill totals in 26 of her 29 matches. Sidney generated six 20-plus kill matches in 2019. Sidney tallied a team-best 18 double-doubles. Sidney earned first-team all-MIAA and honorable mention AVCA all-region honors in 2019.
