A 20-year-old man from Oregon, Missouri has been charged with a misdemeanor in a hit and run November 27th in St. Joseph in which a bicyclist was injured.
The Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed a Class A Misdemeanor Leaving the Scene of an Accident against Westyn Williams.
Williams turned himself in to St. Joseph police after police released photos of him and his vehicle on social media.
Williams is accused of hitting a cyclist at 22nd and Olive Streets around four o’clock in the afternoon of the 27th. The cyclist was treated at the hospital and released later than evening.
