DAVIESS COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by Steven M. Youtsey, 19, Altamont, was southbound on Interstate 35 near the Winston exit.
The vehicle traveled into the passing lane and impacted a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan driven by Morgan E. Anderson, 17, Blue Springs.
A family member transported Youtsey to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Anderson was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
